The boys baseball team has joined the girls softball team in an effort to generate funds which will be used to renovate the dugouts at Dickinson Field. The event will be run by parents of players on each team and members of the respective teams will be available as well to help. Those interested in purchasing tickets prior to the event date can do so at:

The date for the event is Saturday, February 20, 2010.
The event runs from 7:30 am - Noon at the St. Joseph HS Cafeteria

The boys baseball team is holding a raffle to help support the Freshman team, purchase new practice equipment and get new uniforms. Raffle Tickets can be purchansed from any of the Freshman, JV and Varsity players. Tickets are $20.00 each. First prize is $500 cash with other prizes offered as well.

The SJ Baseball Boosters are conducting a raffle this year to help pay for the following:
» New dugouts
» Freshman uniforms
» New equipment including a new pitching machine

If your son is new to the system or is a returning player from the JV or Freshman team, we need your help. Each player is responsible for selling 5 tickets. If paying by check, please make them out to SJ Baseball Boosters. Please turn in the money and ticket stubs to me (Horizon Bank, 811 Ship St., SJ) or to Coach D by March 1. We need these funds in order to pay for the dugouts before the season begins. As most of you are aware the High School is no longer paying for most expenses of the athletic teams & the burden will fall on the parents to keep the programs alive & thriving.
